Into Somerset's vision is to help inward investors and indigenous companies to grow their business and enjoy the best possible lifestyle. City-based businesses often face extra pressures, such as stressful commutes and long days, but working in Somerset allows business people to leave these problems behind, as they arrive at work relaxed, refreshed and raring to go. And with property prices around 35% less than in London, entrepreneurs and employees will save significant money when they relocate.

Successes of Into Somerset
The Somerset in Business Conference 2009, one of the key events in Somerset's business calendar attracted more than 220 delegates from the Somerset business community, eager to hear how they can benefit from in excess of £390 million investment value and the creation of 7,850 new jobs from the county's biggest developments over the next decade: Hinkley Point Development; Taunton Firepool Development; and the Royal Bath and West Showground.
Into Somerset's presence at this year's Glastonbury Festival has also been declared a great success by the Into Somerset Team who managed to spread their message far and wide, both throughout the Festival and beyond. Visitors were able to find out more about what it means to live and work in Somerset, getting information and advice from the Into Somerset team about the business and lifestyle benefits that Somerset offers, as well as practical help about how to relocate to the county.

'Into Somerset' assisted six businesses to relocate or expand into the County, it's joint initiative with local industry, including a civil engineering contractor that needed help identifying appropriate property in which to invest. This contractor will create up to 150 new jobs in the county.
