Sustainable Community Strategy 2009 -2026

How we got there

Somerset’s Sustainable Community Strategy gives a vision of Somerset over the next 17 years, right up until 2026.

Considerable research, consultations, discussions and reviews influenced the development of the Strategy and ensured that it reflects the needs and opinions of individuals, communities and business partners across Somerset.

In this section of our website, we aim to give you an insight into what was involved, how decisions were reached and by whom.  The process has been divided into the Steps detailed below and can be accessed by clicking on the links shown.
