Aims, challenges and priorities agreed.
By now, the outline of the new Sustainable Community Strategy was more or less in place.
A special meeting of the SSP Forum was held in April 2008 to debate the draft aims, challenges and priorities. The proposed details were scrutinised line by line and resulted in a final draft of the headlines of the Strategy.
This final outline draft of the aims and challenges for the Local Area Agreement and the Sustainable Community Strategy was then presented to the Somerset County Council Full Council on 14th May 2008.
This draft was agreed.
